Hello to you boat racing fans!

2013 is here now as we look forward to the new season. We had a great year in 2012. We were lucky enough, with the driving skills of Charlie, to win the Nationals in Burley, ID. Burley is the race of all races, the Indy 500 of the flat bottom circle boats! Thanks Gus for building such great engines!

As we look forward into 2013, we have been very busy all winter long with a few new additions and also a few new projects!

We had the K boat re numbered, same numbers, just newly painted with silver leaf and highlighting by Alicia from Signs by Alicia. Awesome job by her and what a great gal she is, we really like her! We are pretty sure Bob Kent would be proud!

After that, then Jon Byers got after it with the pin striping brush and also a little touch up of the battle scars, then used his talent to completely cover the whole boat in lots of clear. It had been 10 years of racing. Now the old boat is looking really good.

Charlie did some work on the bottom as it had never been “blueprinted”; it actually had the original bottom on it. He says “we got to do something to keep up with Mike Stock’s new K999 driven by Duff Daily “. Charlie thinks we got a few more MPH out it now.

We changed a little bit of plumbing around to clean things up. Then we added a new gauge dash and windshield mount, check out the pics under the K 150 tab.

We also have gotten a little progress on the Wizard; we now have the new roll cage material and the guy to do it. His name is Jamie Clendenen and we also look forward to adding him to the team as a crew member. We are hoping we can get him to mount the newly acquired capsule lid and windshield too?

The Outlaw ProStock has had the inside painted, now awaits the installation of the hardware inside, then we’ll have to get a painter involved for the outside. Oh yes, it will be Red metal flake!

We are working hard on getting things ready to do battle at Parker, AZ in April, then back to Lawrence Lake here in Washington!

We hope to see you at the races, stop by and say Hi!
